    Scrape it

    Tip leftovers into your food waste. A bit of sauce left behind is fine — it composts too.

    Compost it

    Home heap, garden bin, or your council food-waste caddy if they accept fibre packaging.

  3. 03

    Forget about it

    Roughly 90 days in a working heap and it has gone. No fragments, no microplastics, no residue.

Not the plastic recycling

It isn't plastic, so it can't be sorted with it — and a fibre tray in that stream contaminates the bale. Compost or food waste, never the recycling bin.
